Role Description – Production Manager
- This is a full-time, on-site position for a Production Manager at our White Top Testliner Coated paper mill located in Cairo, Egypt.
- The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the main paper machine and the offline coating units, ensuring production targets are achieved, product quality is maintained, and operational efficiency is optimized.
- The role includes managing operating teams, coordinating with quality, maintenance, and planning departments, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the full paper manufacturing process — from stock preparation to final surface coating.
- Execute daily production plans and ensure delivery of volume and quality targets.
- Lead production teams and monitor shift supervisors’ performance.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to resolve issues and ensure preventive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor KPIs, identify causes of losses and downtime, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Support production trials related to new grades or formulation changes.

Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in paper manufacturing, preferably with coated or testliner grades.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience with high-speed paper machines and coating stations (blade, curtain, or rod coater) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with QCS systems is considered an advantage.
