We’re currently seeking a Project Engineerto be responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and control of all engineering activities related to their assigned projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management

Once the Project Engineer takes charge of the project, the PE will have the following responsibilities related to project management:

  • Engineering calculations
  • Project scheduling
  • Design coordination
  • Customer communication
  • On site data gathering and system analysis
  • OEM selection and purchase
  • Fabrication coordination
  • Installation coordination
  • Commissioning and startup

Sales and Technical Assistance

The Project Engineer can also be called upon to assist the sales and technical departments with duties such as:

  • Preparation of sales proposals
  • R&D product or design improvements
  • On-site field measurements and report preparation

The requirements and profile of the Project Engineer include:

  • Graduate engineer preferably in mechanical engineering with advanced knowledge of thermodynamics
  • 3 -5 years of project management experience is an asset
  • Bilingual in English/French (spoken and written)
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be able to travel outside of the country (valid passport is required)
  • Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Be enthusiastic, friendly and show a sense of responsibility
  • Be very flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Be able to manage priorities and work quickly with tight deadlines
  • Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs is an asset
