Our company, ENP Publishing, takes individual privacy seriously and is proud to comply with EU regulation 2016/679, also known as General Data Protection Regulation.

The present document is our Data Protection Charter and describes how ENP Publishing is collecting and processing your personal data via the websites www.paperfirst.info and www.groupenp.com.

This document is likely to be revised to follow the possible evolution of our legal obligations. Should any part of this document be declared null at any stage for any reason, it will be considered void but this would not invalidate any other part.

Who are we ?

ENP Publishing is a media company and a news provider operating the websites www.paperfirst.info and www.groupenp.com. We produce print and digital B2B information services dedicated to the pulp and paper industry. From our website www.paperfirst.info, we offer a free access to global news. From www.groupenp.com, we give the possibility to registered users to order print copies and to download archives.

Use and Sharing

ENP Publishing will use the information collected to enhance your usage of the website or to inform you of news, services, products and promotions by us. Email addresses will not be sold, rented or leased to third parties.

Our data protection policy applies to the information collected as follows :

  • Through simple navigation on our websites
  • When you create a user account
  • When you place an order online
  • When you subscribe to our newsletters

However, our policy cannot apply to information collected by third parties directing visitors to our own websites.

By navigating on our websites, you fully accept the terms of our present policy. You remain responsible for the conformity of the data that you provide. What data do we collect ?

Who will process your data ?

ENP Publishing offers online payment services like PayPal, credit card and bank transfers. ENP Publishing has no access to your connection details or credit card numbers. All transactions are secured by SSL encryption. All sub-contractors, partners and third parties are obliged to confidentiality.

Your data can be transmitted to any buyer or successor in case of merger, sell-out, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or any transfer of assets owned by ENP Publishing to which those data are attached to.

ENP Publishing is also likely to disclose your personal data when requested by legal means and/or when made essential for the security of ENP Publishing, its clients or other partners. This possible disclosure includes the exchange of information with other organizations when it comes to fighting fraud or counterfeiting.

External links towards websites managed by other organizations than ENP Publishing, and on which it has no control, van be present on our websites. ENP Publishing cannot be held responsible for the way your personal data are used on those external sites.

Period of retention of data

ENP Publishing will retain your data for the time necessary to deliver the services subscribed. The time of retention can vary according to the nature of the data and the legal obligations.

Subscribing to our newsletters will imply the retention of your email address until you decide to unsubscribe.

Your data can be retained for 12 months when submitted through one of our contact forms.

Data linked to your online orders can be stored up to 10 years (legal period) from the date of your first order. The same applies to your data linked to your personal account even if you have chosen to deactivate your account.

All other data will be retained up to 1 months.

If you decide to ask for the deletion of your data, your user account will be deactivated and made anonymous, and then deleted completely after the above mentioned time of retention from the day of your request.
Data collected via cookies or trackers will be retained for a period of 13 months. Beyond that, your data will be made anonymous and can be kept for statistics purposes only.

Protection of your data

Data collected will stored on a secured server and protected by a firewall and anti-virus systems. All technical and organisational measures have been taken to guarantee safety and confidentiality of your data against any accidental loss and against intrusion, use, modification or unauthorised disclosure.

However, it is impossible to guarantee full security of web-based activities. Thus, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to our websites. You submit your data at your own risks and we cannot be held responsible for the non-observance of confidentiality or security measures set-up on our websites. You therefore acknowledge that the security of your data is partly within your realm by taking all confidentiality measures regarding your password.

ENP Publishing will never ask for your password.

Your rights

You have the possibility to express your consent or denial to the collection and use of the personal data you transmit :

  • Our websites can be used without cookies or trackers. However, this can result in malfunctions or restricted access.
  • You can refuse the collection of your contact information when filling our forms. In this case, you will not be able to activate your personal account and contact us online.

ENP Publishing is likely to ask you to justify your identity before any modification or deletion of your personal data. ENP Publishing will have 1 month to process you request. It can be extended by 2 months in case of complexity.

Storage of the data collected
