When the paper industry attracts talents

The Koehler Paper Group is a top-level training company. The BEST PLACE TO LEARN seal of quality for training, which Koehler received in 2018, is proof of this. Top-level training is systematic at Koehler. “We train our people so well because we would like to hold onto them in the future,” says Olaf Strick, Corporate Director HR & Legal Department at Koehler.

As training starts on September 1, 2020, 22 young people have once again taken a leap into the future by laying the foundation for their careers with a training program or a hybrid course of practical training and study at Koehler.

Trainees in seven different professions

This year Koehler is holding training for the following professions: industrial mechanic, mechatronics engineer, electronics technician for industrial systems, and paper technologist. In addition, Koehler is welcoming two trainees as industrial business management assistants, one of them with the additional qualification “International Business Management with foreign languages”. With ten trainees, paper technologists traditionally make up the biggest group. This year, one trainee is pursuing a hybrid training and study course, which includes a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems.

“We are thrilled that this year we have again managed to attract so many young people to our company and our various training positions,” says Stefan Grözinger, Head of Personnel Development and Training. “We offer a warm welcome to our trainees and students pursuing a hybrid course of training and study, and wish them a good start to their training at Koehler.”
