ACOTEPAC opens Call for Papers for its 2026 congress

The XXXIV International Congress and Exhibition of ACOTEPAC has officially launched its call for papers ahead of the next edition, to be held from 25 to 27 February 2026 in Cali, Colombia.

Recognized as the premier gathering for the Latin American pulp and paper sector, ACOTEPAC brings together mill executives, suppliers, researchers and technical specialists from across the region and beyond. Alongside its high-level technical conference, the event also hosts EXPOACOTEPAC, an exhibition where suppliers showcase the latest in machinery, equipment and services.

Focus on innovation, efficiency and sustainability

According to the organizers, the 2026 program will cover a wide range of technical and strategic issues: process optimization, energy and water efficiency, decarbonization, recycling and circularity, automation, digitalization, new fiber-based materials, as well as regulatory and sustainability trends.

Presentations are expected to combine practical case studies, operational experiences and academic research, with a strong emphasis on solutions that respond to the competitiveness and environmental challenges facing the industry.

A key gateway to Latin America

For suppliers and technology providers, ACOTEPAC remains a unique gateway to the Latin American market, offering direct contact with mill decision-makers and technical teams. For researchers and mill professionals, it is an opportunity to share knowledge, benchmark practices and raise visibility in a region where the pulp and paper sector continues to grow and modernize.

How to participate

Authors interested in presenting papers are invited to submit a title, abstract and short résumé via the official ACOTEPAC website. Submission deadlines will be announced shortly.
