James Cropper, a global market leader in advanced materials for the paper and packaging industries, will provide an up-close look at its latest innovations and unique papercraft capabilities at this year’s Packaging Première & PCD Milan showcase in May.
The double event, which takes place in Italy’s fashion industry capital on 13-15 May, is one of the largest luxury cosmetics packaging trade shows in Europe. It will see James Cropper bring a host of paper and Moulded Fibre innovations to stand A52, including solutions made with FibreBlend Upcycled Technology, a process that uses a mix of fibres recovered from a variety of sources such as office waste, worn clothing, mill offcuts, and more. It also uses fibres recovered using James Cropper’s patented CupCycling®technology, which recycles used coffee cups into high-quality food-grade fibre.
Attendees will also experience the benefits of James Cropper’s exciting Rydal Eco White material, an uncoated recycled board with the converting characteristics of coated virgin material.
Gareth Fisher, Sales Director at James Cropper looked ahead to the event, saying, “With new regulations like the EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) on the horizon and consumer preferences shifting increasingly towards packaging that aligns with the circular economy, now is the time for cosmetics brands to make a material difference. With 180 years of heritage behind us, our team is on hand to help brands transition into this new era of sustainability.“Adopting recyclable or recycled materials like paper and Moulded Fibre doesn’t have to compromise quality – in fact, with our colour-matching expertise and finishing capability, it only enhances quality. We’ve been at the forefront of this movement for 180 years, but we’re firmly focused on the future and we’re looking forward to sharing our vision in-person on the stand at Packaging Première & PCD Milan.”
