The Saica Group today reached an agreement with the owner family and acquired a minority stake in the Annone di Brianza and Pietrasanta corrugated board plants in Italy. These two plants generated sales of 105 million euros in 2022 and directly employ 247 people.
“This operation is a step forward as it allows us to expand our presence in the corrugated board markets of Southern Europe, in this case, by acquiring a minority share of the plants in Italy. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance Saica’s value proposition in sustainable packaging solutions for our customers,” said Ramon Alejandro, President of the Saica Group.
One of Saica’s strategic priorities for 2025 is focused on sustainable growth, developing its trading model in Europe.
