ZELLCHEMING-Expo 2019: A variety of new features further enrich the exhibition

The ZELLCHEMING-Expo, the platform for the European pulp, paper and supplier industry, offers visitors a multi-faceted program with many new highlights in Frankfurt am Main from 25 – 27 June 2019.

Exhibition with inspiring program highlights

The ZELLCHEMING-Expo 2019 exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to meet national and international exhibitors along the entire value chain of the paper and pulp industry. The companies ABB Automation GmbH, AS Drives & Services GmbH, Bellmer GmbH, Omya International AG, Valmet GmbH and Voith GmbH & Co. KGaA have already registered as exhibitors. Interested companies can reserve their stand space at zellcheming-expo.com.

In addition, there will be focused joint stands where visitors can make contact with companies, which they would not normally meet at other industry events, and on the national market. At the Finnish Pavilion, companies seeking to enter the Central European market will present themselves. New this year is the “Road of Maintenance”, where companies from the maintenance sector can present their products and services – at their exhibition stand and at the Showcase Arena with a live repair demonstration, a user case and a short lecture. The “Treffpunkt Zukunft” joint stand will be available as a contact point for the next generation of industry professionals and the “Aktivitas” associations.

Visitors wishing wish to obtain specific information on relevant topics and an overview of the exhibitors’ offerings can register for the Guided Tours on the topics of digitization, maintenance, drying, machine cross direction profiles and clean processes, which are included in the ticket price.

Future-oriented lectures at a high level

At the exhibition forum, the speakers will address the current focus topics of the pulp and paper industry in lectures and panel discussions. In 2019, the forum will present itself in a new visual design with innovative, digital formats that invite the audience to participate and interact with the speakers.

On all three days of the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to receive further training on the following key topics: Paper Industry 4.0, Bioeconomy and Paper, Consumers & Consumption 4.0, among others with a lecture by Ulf Tillmann from IKEA on “IKEA packaging material fibre strategy”.

A special highlight will be Charles Bahr’s keynote speech entitled “Generation Z enters the labour market: how to reach teenagers sustainably”. The talk will be held in German. Charles Bahr is the founder of tubeconnect, a marketing agency that helps clients develop successful advertising formats for Generation Z.

In the best-practice lecture series “Learn from the best”, exhibitors present interesting developments that they have already implemented in practice.

Due to the high demand last year, the Science Flash will take place again in 2019, which will provide young scientists from various universities with an innovative insight into their scientific work.

Networking Events

The established evening events “After Fair” on the first day of the exhibition and “Summer Evening” by the association ZELLCHEMING e.V. on the second evening, offer participants the opportunity to continue their discussions in a relaxed atmosphere outside of the exhibition grounds. The “Summer Evening” will be held under the motto “Skyline Party” at the Alex Frankfurt in the Skyline Plaza with an impressive view over the rooftops of Frankfurt.

This year, a Women4Paper Day will be offered for women in the industry to expand their network. The session will feature a power breakfast and an inspiring keynote lecture.

Planning and entry tickets

This year, for the first time, an app with lots of useful information about the event will be available to visitors for the optimal planning of their participation. Visitors also benefit from the fact that public transport is included in the visitor ticket when they travel to the event location.
