Victim of a fire, Sotipapier asks the Financial Market Council to suspend the listing of its title


The Tunisian kraft paper and CCM producer Sotipapier was hit by a fire on the night of September 25. For safety reasons, production facilities and equipment were immediately shut down to protect them from electrical risk. « As soon as the fire was contained at 2 a.m., an inventory began with all of our employees and partners, it is stated in a press release. Every effort is made to return to normal activity as quickly as possible. We will communicate as soon as possible on the details of the resumption of production. (…) The necessary steps were taken with [our] insurance company for compensation for the damage suffered. » « Following these exceptional events », Sotipapier requested from the CMF (Financial Market Council) a suspension of its listing from Thursday September 28.           V.
