Valmet has signed a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) partnership with Solidus Assyst to deliver the Valmet DNA Distributed Control System (DCS) and Valmet DNA Machine Monitoring to process industries, excluding the pulp and paper industry, in Greece and Cyprus. This partnership combines Solidus Assyst’s strong expertise in engineering and delivering HIMA-based safety systems with the robust and innovative capabilities of Valmet DNA DCS.
Together, the companies will strengthen Valmet’s automation footprint in the region and offer advanced automation solutions across a wide range of industries. For the energy industry projects, Valmet will act as the main contractor, with Solidus Assyst serving as a supplier for engineering and start-up services in projects executed in Greece and Cyprus.
“We’ve been actively looking for a reliable DCS partner to complement our portfolio and support our strategic growth. So far, we have focused on supplying third-party PLC systems, but with Valmet as our partner, we can now offer our customers a comprehensive, high-performance DCS solution with Valmet DNA. This collaboration opens new opportunities and adds significant value for our customers,” says Antonis Spiliotis, CEO of Solidus Assyst.
“Collaborating with Solidus Assyst marks an important step in expanding Valmet’s automation footprint in Greece and Cyprus. We are pleased with the successful start of the partnership and value the strong mutual understanding, shared business objectives, and aligned professional approach”, says Rene Neubert, Sales Director, Automation Solutions, Valmet.
