Timo Ahonen has been appointed Metsä Fibre’s Senior Vice President, Pulp Production and a member of Metsä Fibre’s Management Team as of 1 August 2025. He will report to CEO Ismo Nousiainen. Currently, Ahonen is working at Metsä Board as VP, Tako board mill. Mikko Nieminen, the current SVP, Pulp Production, will transition to Metsä Tissue as Senior Vice President, Technology.
