TAPPICon will be held in the Spring AND Fall this year.
In May, a first convention will be held online. Then, in October, a live and in-person edition will take place in Atlanta.
This is the news released by the organising committee earlier today in a letter sent to TAPPI members and partners.
“The health and safety of our members, attendees and exhibitors is our primary concern. While we are encouraged by the rollout of the COVID vaccines, we feel it is still prudent to use caution this spring and offer our attendees a virtual event.
At the same time, we understand how important face-to-face discussions and networking are for our industry and have decided to also offer a live, in-person event in the fall.
TAPPICon VIRTUAL, May 4-5, 2021, offers a virtual, currated technical program focused on current, more time-sensitive topics.
TAPPICon LIVE!, October 3-6, 2021, will be held in Atlanta, GA USA. This in-person events includes a full comprehensive technical program addressing key topics about Coating & Graphic Arts, Nonwovens, Papermaking, Papermaking Additives, Papermaking Fundamentals, PIMA Management, Process Control, Maintenance & Reliability, Recycled Paperboard (RPTA) and Tissue. TAPPICon LIVE! also includes multiple networking events and a full exhibit floor allowing you to meet face-to-face with industry peers.
TAPPICon attendees will have the added advantage of participating in TechTalks, a new feature highlighting specific technologies throughout the summer.”
