Informa Markets in India, the country’s leading organiser of B2B exhibitions, today announced the 17th edition of Paperex, the world’s largest exhibition and conference dedicated to the pulp, paper, packaging, and allied industries. Scheduled from 3–6 December 2025 at Yashobhoomi (IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi, the four-day event will bring together global paper and packaging leaders in a celebration of innovation, sustainability, and business transformation.
With a legacy spanning over three decades, Paperex 2025 will feature over 700 exhibitors from 25+ countries and expects to welcome more than 33,000 trade visitors including manufacturers, converters, traders, machinery suppliers, and technology providers from around the world. Organised by Informa Markets in India in association with the Indian Agro & Recycled Paper Mills Association (IARPMA) and with support from the World Paper Forum, Paperex continues to be the definitive global platform for the paper and allied industries.
The exposition will showcase the complete spectrum of paper industry solutions, from raw materials and manufacturing equipment to finished products and waste management technologies. The event’s diverse visitor profile includes paper manufacturers, packaging companies, printing industry professionals, technology providers, raw material suppliers, government officials, and international buyers, creating a dynamic ecosystem for business growth and innovation.
Rewriting the Industry’s Next Chapter
The global pulp and paper market, valued at USD 357 billion in 2023, is projected to grow to USD 391 billion by 2032. India, the fastest-growing paper market in the world, is forecast to expand at a 13.4% CAGR to reach USD 35.5 billion by 2030, driven by education, packaging demand, and retail growth. With 526 operational mills and per capita consumption of just 15 kg—well below the global average of 57 kg—the growth potential is immense.
Reflecting these shifts, Paperex 2025 will spotlight advanced technologies in paper manufacturing, sustainable packaging, recycling, and digital transformation—all key to building a low-carbon, circular paper economy. The exhibition will feature innovations across paper manufacturing technologies with advanced machinery and automation solutions, sustainable production processes and recycling technologies, raw materials including pulp and recycled fibers, packaging innovations with barrier technologies and smart packaging systems, and digital solutions featuring Industry 4.0 applications and IoT integration.
Mr Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said: “Paperex 2025 goes beyond paper and is about progress. Globally, the pulp and paper industry contributes nearly 2% of industrial greenhouse gas emissions, making sustainability both a challenge and a mandate. It is estimated that digitalization alone could save the industry USD 20 billion by next year, improving productivity while lowering energy and water use. Paperex 2025 will showcase such technologies, from fibre innovation to carbon-neutral production. Over the years, Paperex has evolved into a powerful global exchange for ideas and partnerships that define what responsible growth looks like – one where technology, sustainability, and collaboration print the next chapter of success for the paper and packaging industry.”
Innovation, Insight, and Industry Leadership
A key highlight of the show will be its conference programme on “Sustainable Growth of Paper, Paper Packaging & Allied Industries in the Changing Global Scenario”, curated by IARPMA. It will feature sessions on sustainable manufacturing, circular economy models, automation, and digitalization. Concurrent seminars and business meets hosted by the World Paper Forum will focus on “Paper Printing, Packaging and Converting,” bringing global perspectives on efficiency, trade, and innovation.
Prominent participants at the exhibition include JK Paper, TNPL, Trident Group, BILT Graphic Paper, APRIL Fiber Resource, Andhra Paper, Orient Paper, and West Coast Paper, representing the complete paper manufacturing and converting spectrum.
From a modest beginning three decades ago, Paperex has become a global industry institution, synonymous with innovation, investment, and collaboration. For exhibitors and visitors alike, it delivers value across four pillars—brand visibility, business networking, lead generation, and knowledge exchange. Paperex 2025 reinforces India’s leadership in paper and packaging innovation and invites stakeholders to explore the technologies and ideas shaping a more sustainable industry future
