Metso to introduce advanced flow control practices at Valve World Americas

Metso will showcase its unique valve and service solution offering for the process industries at Valve World Americas Expo & Conference 2019, taking place June 19–20 2019, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, USA. Meet Metso at Hall D, Booth 303.

Valves are key elements in plant’s flow control and their reliability can be affected by different factors. Keeping every control valve and instrument at it’s peak performance is not easy and even a small problem could result in major issues for the entire system. Metso invites Valve World Americas visitors to meet with us and discover our world-leading solutions – because details matter.

Metso’s David Bayreuther, Director of Ball Valves Product Center, will speak at the Actuated Valve Assembly Workshop on Thursday, June 20th at 2:30 p.m. local time. He will introduce a new recommended practice that defines torque characteristics for valves and the selection of proper actuator size. At the same time, Metso’s J.P. Garcia, Area Sales Manager in Western US and Canada for Valves, will chair the Valve Design Workshop, where Metso’s Director of Technology Development in Valves Business Area, Jukka Borgman, will share insights on the 3D printing of valve parts under the title “3D Printing: Value for Valve Users and State-of-the-Art Technology.”
