The recent edition of Latampaper Brazil took place successfully on 25–26 June at the Bourbon Atibaia Hotel, bringing together the elite of Brazil’s and Latin America’s paper industry in a technical, collaborative, and highly professional setting.
Latampaper Brazil has firmly established itself as the leading event in Brazil’s pulp and paper industry for technological updates and strategic networking.
The event enabled 60 supplier companies from 18 countries — from global giants to emerging firms with innovative solutions — to connect with papermakers from Brazil and Latin America. On the papermakers’ side, representatives from 101 mills and converting units attended, totalling nearly 200 technical specialists and executives, including key profiles in production, maintenance, procurement, plant management and executive leadership.
Over two days of intense professional activity, the event followed its well-known format of high-level technical presentations combined with extensive professional networking opportunities, where papermakers and suppliers shared ideas, experiences, and business prospects. Shared meals and social activities among all participants fostered a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, further enhancing strategic interaction.
The attendee profile was composed mainly of decision-makers:
• 35% in Production, Process, Projects, Procurement and Technical roles
• 18% Production Managers
• 13% Maintenance Managers
• 9% Plant Managers
• 12% CEOs or General Managers
This executive-level profile was positively noted by supplier companies, who appreciated the technical calibre and purchasing influence of the papermakers present. Likewise, mill representatives praised the quality of the technical content and the diversity of suppliers, which offered concrete alternatives for improving production and supply operations.
True to its tradition, Latampaper blended technical knowledge with high-value professional networking. The shared meals and social events created a welcoming environment that encouraged valuable exchange and relationship building.
A highlight of the event was the Latampaper Achievement Awards, presented in a moving ceremony honouring distinguished careers in the industry:
• Sidnei Coimbra, for his ongoing contributions to automation in paper mills
• Ricardo da Quinta, for his outstanding leadership in large industrial projects
• Carlos Alberto Stein, founder of BN Papéis, for his inspiring journey building a successful company from the ground up
The event concluded with a special dinner and Brazilian folk show, providing a vibrant and memorable close to two days of intensive professional engagement.
Latampaper thus reaffirms its commitment to the development, sustainability, and integration of the pulp and paper industry in Brazil and across Latin America, and extends its thanks to all participants for making this edition a true meeting point for technical excellence.
Next edition: Latampaper continues its regional journey with the next event to be held on 13–14 May 2026 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
