Grenoble INP – Pagora launches its winter school dedicated to the valorisation of plant biomass and innovative materials


Grenoble INP – Pagora, UGA and LGP2* are hosting the first edition of the Unite! Biomass Winter School.

Dedicated to the themes of the valorisation of plant biomass (green and agro-food waste as well as wood residues) and the and the production of bio-based materials, this winter school brings together teacher-researchers from universities and universities and laboratories (KTH [Sweden], Aalto University [Finland], TU Graz [Austria], LGP2 [France]), members of the European university Unite!

Aimed at master’s and doctoral students wishing to learn about and become aware of the issues and materials from plant biomass, this first edition of the Unite! Biomass Winter School will include seminars and workshops on the valorisation of biomass, cellulose, nanocellulose and lignin.

Taking place in Grenoble, European Green Capital 2022, this short programme will also include several social and intercultural activities
and intercultural activities allowing students to develop links with their peers from other countries and with international but also with international teachers and researchers.
