The Etex group has finally retained the takeover project of the French group Global Hygiène to restart the activity of the paper mill in Bègles. The project of the former employees grouped within the association “Avenir Papeterie de Bègles” was rejected. Global Hygiène plans to set up a new tissue factory in this plant. For its part, Avenir Papeterie de Bègles was working on a project called “Origami”, intended in particular to transform used paper into insulation materials.
