Following the recent announcement that Arjowiggins’ companies in the UK have been placed into the hands of administrators, the Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI) is ready and willing to help in any practical way.
Clearly this is an incredibly worrying time for all employees and their families affected, including those in the areas of Stoneywood, Chartham and Clacton where production is undertaken.
These companies, with skilled and dedicated workforces, have a long history in the UK’s Paper-based Industries. They continue to provide excellent paper-based products, ranging from creative and security papers, tracing papers to synthetic papers.
CPI understands that the administrators will use all of their expertise and resources to find a buyer for Arjowiggins and we call upon politicians and other stakeholders to aid and support the process so that a quick and positive outcome can be secured.
