Condat entrusts Allimand with the reconstruction of PM8 and invests in a CSR-based boiler

The Condat site (Lecta group) can project itself into the future. During a visit on February 13, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Secretary of State to the French Minister of Economy and Finance, indicated that the Lecta group will invest € 8 million in the transformation of line 8 in order to produce technical papers. The French manufacturer Allimand was selected to carry out this investment.
In addition, installing a boiler using solid recovery fuels (CSR) should improve the site’s competitiveness by significantly reducing its costs. This operation will also allow the plant to reduce its CO2 emissions by almost 30,000 t/year. This € 36 million project is co-financed up to € 14 million by the State via the Heat Fund operated by Ademe. This contribution completes the € 19 million loan voted by the Regional Council of New Aquitaine.
