Cartonnerie Lacaux celebrated its 140th anniversary

On October 3rd and 4th, Cartonnerie Lacaux pulled out all the stops to celebrate its 140th anniversary. Around 200 employees gathered on Friday in Bosmie-l’Aiguille, near Limoges (in the Limousin region of central France), to take stock of recent decades and look ahead to the future. A similar event was planned for the following day, with employees’ families in attendance.

Cartonnerie Lacaux, which became part of the CGW Packaging group in 2019, was founded in 1885. This integrated site has a production capacity of approximately 46,000 t/year of corrugated case material (CCM, with a paper machine) and 80 million m² of corrugated board (with a corrugator). The full report on this anniversary and on the site’s projects, particularly in decarbonization and energy efficiency, will be published in the October-November edition of La Papeterie Mag.
