The paper group confirms its Platinum rating with a score of 93/100, up 4 points from the previous assessment, ranking in the 99th percentile globally
For the fifth consecutive year, Lucart has achieved the EcoVadis Platinum rating, confirming the strength and continuity of its sustainability journey. The international paper group achieved an overall score of 93/100, up 4 points from the previous assessment, ranking in the 99th percentile of companies assessed worldwide.
The result further consolidates a journey that Lucart has been pursuing for years and that continues to translate into measurable objectives, actions and results. The EcoVadis assessment covers four areas of corporate sustainability – environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement – in which Lucart scored 96/100, 94/100, 83/100 and 94/100, respectively.
A journey that continues to grow
The score achieved in the 2026 edition represents a further improvement compared to the 89/100 achieved in the previous assessment, confirming the Group’s ability to maintain high standards over time while continuing to improve its performance.
The result in the “Environment” category is particularly significant, with Lucart achieving a score of 96/100. The assessment recognises the strength of the Group’s environmental policies and measures, as well as the certifications and initiatives focused on reducing environmental impacts, improving energy efficiency, managing resources and promoting circularity. Among the elements recognised by EcoVadis are Lucart’s commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and its science-based climate targets, together with actions addressing energy and emissions, water management, materials, waste and resource efficiency.
In the “Labour and Human Rights” category, Lucart achieved a score of 94/100. The assessment considers a comprehensive set of policies and people-focused initiatives, including programmes covering health and safety, training, equal opportunities, employee support, as well as listening and reporting mechanisms.
Supply chain management is also a key element of the Group’s sustainability journey. In the “Sustainable Procurement” category, Lucart achieved 94/100, reflecting policies and targets aimed at integrating environmental and social criteria into procurement processes and supplier management.
Finally, in the “Ethics” category, Lucart achieved 83/100, receiving the highest possible scores in the areas relating to policies, measures and reporting. The assessment covers areas including anti-corruption measures, information security, data protection, and monitoring and reporting systems.
“The fifth consecutive Platinum recognition is an important confirmation of the continuity of the journey Lucart has undertaken,” comments Francesco Pasquini, CEO of Lucart. “The improvement in our overall score demonstrates that the work we have carried out over the years continues to deliver tangible results. At the same time, an assessment such as EcoVadis allows us to systematically measure our performance, identify areas for further development and continue working to increasingly integrate sustainability into our operations and across our value chain.”
EcoVadis is a global platform for assessing corporate sustainability. The new rating achieved by Lucart is part of a long-term journey that also includes tools dedicated to responsible supply chain management, including the AMFORI-BSCI system, an international standard aimed at promoting respect for human rights and working conditions throughout the supply chain. This commitment further strengthens the Group’s efforts to extend social and ethical criteria to its relationships with partners, suppliers and collaborators.
