On March 13 and 14, Papest, the Federation of paper manufacturers in the Grand Est and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regions (eastern France), is organizing the first edition of Paper of the Future (Papier d’Avenir) in Nancy, an event dedicated to discovering the trades and careers in the paper industry. Often overlooked, the paper sector is now innovative, committed to the circular economy, and a major recruiter. It relies on major industrial players with a strong presence in France and Europe.
At this trade fair, more than 200 opportunities will be available, including job offers, internships, and apprenticeships, illustrating the dynamism and skills needs of the industry.
Aimed at young people, students, job seekers, those considering a career change, as well as career guidance and training professionals, Paper of the Future will offer a rich and immersive program:
- a journey to discover the world of paper,
- conferences with industry professionals,
- networking opportunities,
- games and creative workshops.
Through this initiative, Papest hopes to change perceptions of the paper industry, highlight concrete, sustainable, and promising careers, and contribute to strengthening the sector’s appeal to the talent of tomorrow.
