The Navigator Company is a global leader in the fight against climate change and deforestation

The Navigator Company is among the world’s leading companies in the fight against climate change and deforestation. The company has once again achieved the highest rating of ‘A’ (Leadership) in the CDP Climate Change and CDP Forests questionnaires, reinforcing its top position in the prestigious CDP A-List for Climate and Forests.

This recognition places Navigator among the top 4% of approximately 20,000 companies worldwide assessed by the independent CDP system, distinguishing its leadership, transparency and quality of information reported on climate risk and deforestation management.

The 2025 assessment, which consolidates the Company’s position as an international benchmark in sustainability, is based on information reported by Navigator to CDP for the previous year and results from a rigorous, independent process conducted by CDP – Disclosure Insight Action, a global non-profit organisation that manages the leading environmental disclosure system.

By achieving the highest rating in both questionnaires — Climate and Forests — for the second consecutive year, Navigator reaffirms its position at the highest level of leadership in climate change mitigation and adaptation, as well as in responsible management of deforestation risk.

In the Climate domain, the “A” rating reflects the integration of climate risk into business strategy, the setting of clear emission reduction targets, the implementation of decarbonisation initiatives, and the robustness of governance, transparency, and reporting models.

In the Forests domain, the top distinction recognises the strength of systems for managing and tracing the origin of wood, forest management and chain of custody certification, as well as responsible raw material procurement policies based on high environmental standards.

This performance is aligned with Navigator’s 2030 Responsible Business Agenda, which guides the Company’s actions towards a low-carbon economy, biodiversity protection, and the valorization of Portuguese forests.
