Leadership transition at Bellmer Finland Oy

Bellmer Finland Oy  announced a significant leadership transition as long-serving Managing Director Jyrki Strengell retires after two decades of dedicated service. Strengell, who previously led Vaahto before its acquisition by Bellmer in 2013, has been instrumental in shaping the company’s success and international growth.

Effective since August 1st, Bellmer Finland adopts a dual-managing director model, a structure widely used in Germany, appointing Ari Tanninen and Tommi Karevaara as co-managing directors with equal authority.

Ari Tanninen, M.Sc. (Eng.), brings extensive leadership experience from his role as Sales and Marketing Director since 2022. He is well known in the Päijät-Häme region, having served as Mill Director at Stora Enso Heinola from 2012 to 2018.

Tommi Karevaara, B.Sc. (Eng.), is a seasoned expert in sourcing and manufacturing, with 27 years of experience at the Hollola site. His deep operational knowledge ensures continued excellence in product quality and delivery performance.

Both directors will report to Martin Kollmar, Chairman of the Board.

Bellmer Finland Oy specializes in manufacturing headboxes, dewatering equipment, pulpers, pressure screens, and suction rolls for paper and board machines. With a customer base spanning over 30 countries, the company employs 95 professionals in Finland. Bellmer Group, the parent company, boasts a turnover of €220 million and a workforce of 860 employees worldwide.

The entire Bellmer family extends heartfelt thanks to Jyrki Strengell for his outstanding leadership and wishes him a joyful and well-deserved retirement. We also warmly welcome Ari and Tommi to their new roles and look forward to a future of continued innovation and growth.
