We’re expanding our reach in Türkiye with a new partnership between Tasowheel and RCB Digital.
RCB Digital is led by Caner Büyüktuna, who brings 15 years of experience in automation and quality control systems for the paper industry. Caner has long experience in the paper industry, starting in 2010 when he joined Honeywell-Measurex as a QCS/DCS field service engineer, supporting mills across Türkiye and neighboring countries. He later moved to Voith Paper Türkiye, where he advanced from service management to sales management.
“I was working as a sales manager in Voith Paper Türkiye, and I saw a huge gap between theory and practice about digitalization.
Many companies were offering quite good digitalization and automation products, but most of all offering solutions on top of a well founded automation system. Everybody wants to have a digitalized factory, and there are many vendors offering great products, but nobody was thinking about how the things will be accomplished in the field. Without having a proper automation system that runs your company efficiently, and without having a well founded data infrastructure, nobody can achieve their digitalization goals.
So by this philosophy, RCB Digital was founded in February 2024, focusing on helping companies to achieve their digitalization goals, by preparing their infrastructure first.“
Caner was already familiar with Tasowheel’s technology long before the partnership.
“I had seen the products in the field many times,” he recalls. “When I met Janne (Tasowheel’s senior sales manager) at an international exhibition, it was clear we shared the same focus on delivering practical solutions that meet the customer’s real needs.
