Lecta fully supports and is aligned with the European Union’s new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which aims to reduce packaging waste and promote recyclability by establishing a harmonized legal framework across all Member States.
The new European directive, which went into effect in February 2025, will be broadly applicable as of August 12, 2026, with extended transition periods for certain requirements.
