The change negotiations held at Metsä Fibre’s Joutseno and Rauma pulp mills and the Rauma sawmill on possible temporary layoffs up to 90 days have ended.
After the end of the change negotiations, the company has made a decision according to which, the Joutseno and Rauma pulp mills and Rauma sawmill may, if necessary, implement temporary layoffs for the entire personnel as of July 2025 and by the end of December 2025. The duration of temporary layoffs is up to 90 days.
The timing and duration of layoff periods are planned on a mill-specific basis.
