Kemira exits Russian market and closes local operations. Kemira announced a decision to discontinue deliveries to Russia and Belarus on March 1, 2022 due to the Russian military attack in Ukraine and has now proceeded with exit preparations. The full completion of the process will take some time due to the local process and legal requirements. Kemira has 45 employees in Russia. In 2021, Russia represented around 3% of Kemira’s total revenue with a main focus on Pulp & Paper sector.
