The rebuild of Holmen Board and Paper´s PM52 paper machine at the Braviken mill is now live, delivering unmatched production flexibility.
A key component of this project supplied by Andritz is the new PrimeForm TW shoe-blade gap former and PrimeFlow AT headbox with accelerating trapezoid tubes, which significantly enhances jet quality, fiber dispersion, and fiber orientation.
Combined with a press section modification that boosts dryness, saves energy, and improves runnability, this upgrade is setting new standards in paper production.
This technology upgrade supports Holmen Paper’s transition to TMP furnish-based containerboard, revolutionizing production.
