Technical testing solutions from emtec Electronic for efficient papermaking processes on site at Zellcheming 2022

Measuring and testing device manufacturer emtec Electronic will present solutions for determining fillers in paper and board without combustion, measuring particle charge and zeta potential, analyzing softness, and more at the Zellcheming Expo in Wiesbaden, Germany, from June 29 to July 1, 2022.

Returning to the Rhein-Main Congress Center in Wiesbaden after two years, the Zellcheming Expo will once again bring together professionals from the pulp and paper industry in person to discuss new perspectives, developments, and opportunities.

Operating under the central theme “Future in every fiber!,” the longest running trade show of its kind promises to leave attendees with a plethora of new impulses aimed toward securing the future viability of the industry in Germany and Europe. In focus will be pioneering process and product technologies, new initiatives, and innovative solutions to propel the Energiewende — the shift in energy sourcing for a climate-neutral bioeconomy.

Coming from Leipzig, Germany, the device manufacturer emtec Electronic GmbH will joining their industry colleagues on site this year to present selected technical solutions, with particular focus on those products that help paper professionals optimize their production processes. The more than 25-year-old company specializes in the developing and manufacture of measuring and testing equipment for pulp, paper, and cardboard and serves customers in more than 80 countries around the world.

One of the pioneering devices on display, the emtec ACA Ash Content Analyzer, allows manufacturers to save significantly on time, material, and energy costs. Based on x-ray transmission and fluorescence, the emtec ACA quickly and non-destructively determines the total mineral filler content as well as the percentage distribution of the individual components used within a sample. The quick measuring procedure leads to an almost instant availability of measuring results and therefore allows for a fast reaction to changes in the process.

“The emtec ACA allows papermakers the efficient use of mineral fillers, which helps to reach the requested quality of the base and finished product,” explained Alexander Gruener, Global Marketing and Business Development Manager at emtec.

Visitors to the Zellcheming Expo are encouraged to reach out to the emtec Electronic team, including its founder, Giselher Gruener, at booth number 14a in the North Hall (Halle Nord) of the Expo. More information about the event can be found under the following link.
