You have in your hands the very first edition of our Latin
American Guide to the Pulp & Paper Industry.
Until now, no publisher had bothered to bring together in
one book such broad information on the sector, as the task
is arduous to cover some 20 countries of the region.
In partnership with EL PAPEL and PASTA E PAPEL magazines,
as an introduction we wanted to give you an overall
vision of the context of our industry through articles about
the economic environment of the region, and a focus on the
prospects of the pulp and paper business.
The “Directory” part identifies more than 800 companies
active in the sector. For each country, you will find them
listed in alphabetical order, suppliers on one side and producers
on the other. An index at the end of the guide will
make your search easier.
A selection of specialized suppliers working in Latin America,
but having no registered office in the listed countries,
appear in a dedicated section in page 131.
For this first edition, we have tried to be as complete as possible,
without being exhaustive because we had to make
some selections.
