Production capacity in Turkey which is one of the fastest growing tissue paper markets of the world continues to expand every day thanks to the continuous investments. The production capacity of
tissue paper together with the new investments to be commissioned in 2016 will increase up to 950 thousand tons. The increase in capacity and production steering above the increase rate of demand
puts Turkey to a significant position regionally. The recent facility openings by ?pek Ka??t in Manisa and Kazakhstan are just mere examples. The company increases its impact on tissue paper export
that has a significant share in the sector’s total export as it increases its total annual production capacity from 110 thousand tons up to 180 thousand tons with its new facility opened in Manisa.

Together with several markets in the Middle East where tissue paper consumption has a healthy growth trend, Turkey also provides an attractive growth potential and investment environment. Besides it
is an interesting fact for Turkey’s role amidst other regional countries as export has increased 100% although tissue paper consumption in the country had a 33% increase.
