But this small country that counts about 4 million people has a growing demand for paper and cardboard products, for tissue paper products also. Yet, the challenge is there, and lies in finding the balance between the demand and requirements on one hand, the availability and supply on the other.
Part of the Kuwaiti market is fulfilled through products manufactured by the main companies : Al Oula Paper Manufacturing Co., Gulf Paper Manufacturing Co. or United Paper Industries Co., the other, that requests some special type of paper like coated board, kraft and coated papers, is fulfilled through the import.
