“Ozone Days” to be organized in Beauvais, northern France, on March 23/24

On March 23 and 24, 2022, the first edition of the “Ozone Days” will be held. It is a conference co-organized by the Institut Polytechnique UniLaSalle and Grenoble INP – Pagora and Laboratory of Pulp and Paper Science and Graphic Arts (LGP2), component of Grenoble INP Graduate schools of Engineering and Management, Université Grenoble Alpes. It will be held on the UniLaSalle campus in Beauvais (France).

The use of ozone for the valorization of lignocellulosic fibers and agro-resources is in full development throughout the world. There is a real need to connect researchers and industry players to develop applications using ozone, by accompanying the process from research field to industrial application. This conference thus aims to present a state of the art in the development of ozone applications (pulp bleaching, preservation of agricultural resources, etc.) and to demonstrate the potential of ozone in the treatment of the latter.

This event will gather a national and international audience, composed of researchers, academics, industry players from the concerned fields. The potential of ozone is very great and is the subject of studies in many European research centers.

The conference will extend over 3 half-days. Two will be devoted to scientific and technical exchanges on the potential of ozone in the valorization of plant biomass. The third will present the means offered by UniLaSalle, Grenoble INP – Pagora and LGP2 for laboratory or pilot studies and will include a detailed visit to the R&D Ozone LaSalle O3 platform.

This conference is part of the actions of the Ozone Scientific Interest Group created in 2018 between UniLaSalle and Grenoble INP.

This event is open to professionals/local&regional authorities/academics who would like to attend. Registration is mandatory.

All this information as well as the program can be found on the Ozone Days website.
