Klabin PM27 delivered by Valmet went live with TietoEVRY TIPS MES solution


TietoEVRY delivered Klabin, the Brazil’s largest producer and exporter of packaging paper, the industry specific MES solution to enable production efficiency, digitalisation and business renewal.

TietoEVRY as Valmet’s Industrial Internet ecosystem partner congratulates Klabin and Valmet of the successful production start of the world’s first kraftliner paper that is 100% made of eucalyptus fibre. The aim of this project is to produce 910 thousand tonnes of high-quality packaging paper annually in two paper machines. In addition to PM 27 paper machine, Valmet´s deliveries in the project include a new cooking and fiber line. The PM 27 started on August 30.

Klabin is Brazil’s largest producer and exporter of packaging paper, the only company in Brazil to offer one-stop shop solutions in hardwood, softwood and fluff pulp, and the leader in the corrugated board packaging and industrial bags markets. Klabin operates in 23 industrial units in Brazil and one in Argentina.

TietoEVRY as Valmet ecosystem partner was pleased to contribute in the project in by delivering the industry specific TIPS MES (TietoEVRY’s Manufacturing Execution System) solution, which is designed to enable production efficiency, digitalisation and business renewal.
