Shandong Jin Tian He Paper Co., Ltd. awarded GAW technologies GmbH with an order for the coating colour preparation and working stations to the new PM13 in China.
The 6,320 mm wide PM13 will produce food grade folding boxboard (food quality packaging material) with a basis weight range of 170…400 g/m² at a production speed of 800 m/min.
Shandong Jin Tian He Paper Co., Ltd., a pulp-paper integrated enterprise, was established in 2022 as a subsidiary of Shandong Tianhe Paper Co., Ltd. (established in 1978). Main products include mechanical pulp, fine paper, packaging paper and specialty paper. The company has more than 1,500 employees.
The start-up of the folding boxboard machine is scheduled for the second quarter of 2025.
Shandong Jin Tian He Paper placed the order to GAW because of their expertise in the coating color preparation and working stations for coated card-board, especially in food-packaging grades. Another reason is GAW’s reputation in the market for its engineering capabilities for complete projects, as well as for its professional after-sales service. GAW has built impressive references in a large number of big paper mills in China.
