The Pulp & Beyond event sees itself as a Nordic arena for forest-based bioeconomy and will once again bring together the latest innovations, products, technologies, and experts at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Center in April. The German measuring device manufacturer will present its online FPO in Northern Europe for the first time.
For the first time in Finland for live demonstrations: the emtec FPO Fiber Potential Analyzer Online. A fully automatic, process-integrated measuring device for the wet end of paper production (tissue, paper, board). Approximately every 15 minutes, it automatically takes samples form the system via two possible connection points, measures the streaming potential, zeta potential, conductivity, temperature, and pH value of the sample, and then clean itself. The measured values are automatically sent to the process control system. On request, the measurement data can be forwarded to a secure data cloud, where it is stored for worldwide remote access by authorized persons.
This year´s portfolio also includes two laboratory measuring devices for the wet end: the CAS Charge Analyzing System for measuring particle charge in the filtrate, and the FPA Fiber Potential Analyzer for determining the zeta potential of fibers in the suspension.
For quality testing of base and finished products, the redesigned TSA Tactile Sensation Analyzer will once again be on stage. In addition to the familiar and standardized softness measurement, the integrated touchscreen enables intuitive operation. The new TSA can be optionally equipped for measuring air permeability, thermo-haptics, and thermal insulation, as well as with a high-resolution camera.
The emtec ACA Ash Content Analyzer provides accurate data within one minute for the detection of mineral fillers in paper and board. Without destroying the sample, it measures the total content of fillers, as well as the individual fillers in percent. Using the ACA replaces the complex combustion procedure and leads to considerable energy and time savings.
In a few weeks, the largest event in the paper industry in Finland will begin, and emtec Electronic will be demonstrating its latest innovations, answering questions, and discussing new ideas at booth 4d7. Ulli Kasten will also be introducing emtec´s new sales employee, Andrea Maldonado Castellar, at the event.
