CIDPEX 2026 concludes successfully in Nanjing as 2027 edition already scheduled

The 33rd edition of the China International Disposable Paper Expo (CIDPEX) was held from April 13 to 17, 2026, at the Nanjing International Expo Center, reaffirming its position as a leading global platform for the tissue and hygiene products industry.

This year’s exhibition gathered more than 1,000 exhibitors across 100,000 square metres of exhibition space, attracting over 50,000 visitors. Participants had access to a comprehensive showcase of the sector, including more than 1,000 branded products and live demonstrations of hundreds of machines in operation.

CIDPEX 2026 was structured around five main exhibition segments:

  • tissue paper,
  • disposable hygiene products,
  • raw and auxiliary materials,
  • machinery and equipment,
  • health and medical care.

Together, these segments provided a complete overview of the industry’s value chain, highlighting current innovations and market trends.

The tissue paper pavilion hosted over 130 companies, with strong participation from distributors seeking new partnerships and supply agreements. Meanwhile, the disposable hygiene products area brought together more than 150 exhibitors, focusing on key segments such as feminine care, baby care, adult incontinence and wipes, with a notable emphasis on product innovation.

Upstream developments were prominently featured in the raw and auxiliary materials section, which included over 350 exhibitors presenting new materials and technologies aimed at improving product quality and supporting industry upgrades. In parallel, the machinery and equipment pavilion showcased solutions from 400 suppliers, with a clear focus on digitalisation, automation and efficiency gains.

Reflecting demographic and societal trends, the health and medical care pavilion highlighted opportunities linked to the “silver economy,” bringing together 32 exhibitors across elderly care products, rehabilitation aids and healthcare solutions.

International expansion was another key theme of the event. A dedicated “Overseas Service Ecosystem” zone and an upgraded Global Buyer Negotiation Area facilitated connections between Chinese suppliers and international partners. Complementing the exhibition, a series of conferences and forums addressed global market dynamics, e-commerce strategies and innovation trends.

After more than three decades of development, CIDPEX continues to evolve alongside the industry, offering a comprehensive platform for business development, technology exchange and international cooperation. The next edition, CIDPEX 2027, will take place in Nanjing from April 13 to 17, 2027.
