From next March 1, APL Packaging becomes the exclusive agent of the German producer Buchmann Karton in France. Buchmann Karton produces 250,000 tpy of recycled cardboard on a 4,350 mm wide machine at its Annweiler site (one hour from Strasbourg).
This producer offers a complete range with the famous “bird names” :
- Pirol : GD2 board from 250 to 550 g/m2,
- Kondor : GD2 premium board (high hand) from 300 to 400 g/m2,
- Ibis : GT2 carton from 250 to 500 g/m2.
Buchmann Karton is also specialized in the production of the Food Plus range that meets the requirements of food packaging in relation to the migration of mineral oils : Pirol Food + and Ibis Food +. These ranges will be exhibited at the beginning of March at the CFIA Rennes Show (Western France) where APL Packaging will present its products and innovations.
