Sustainability
SWM International is dedicated to advancing its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy in collaboration with customers and partners. The Thinpact program focuses on decreasing the use of plastic by means including Evolute™, life-cycle assessment (LCA), and eco-design, driving customers closer to achieving circularity. The company is taking bold steps to reduce its own environmental footprint, including a targeted 40% reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from 2020 to 2030. This involves ongoing investments in reduction of energy consumption and decarbonization projects, including the installation of a second biomass boiler in the French Quimperlé mill.
