Mondi, a global leader in sustainable packaging and paper solutions, has delivered a 10% reduction in logistics and production costs for Argesim Teknoloji, a leading Turkish technology company, by developing a customised corrugated packaging solution for its sensor-based products.
The collaboration, which began in 2023, focused on replacing Argesim Teknoloji’s standard ABOX boxes and foam-filled packaging with high-strength, tailored corrugated solutions designed specifically for sensors used in applications such as solar energy systems and grain silos.
By optimising box dimensions, strength and ergonomics, Mondi eliminated shipment-related production damage and reduced operational risks across the supply chain. The redesigned packaging fully removed the need for foam materials, responding to overseas customer preferences for more sustainable packaging solutions.
The new packaging integrates seamlessly into Argesim Teknoloji’s existing production and logistics processes, delivering measurable cost savings without requiring any additional investment. Improved protection and handling efficiency have helped reduce time losses and ensure smoother deliveries.
The impact has also been reflected in customer feedback, with shipment-related complaints replaced by positive responses and an improvement in overall brand perception, driven by packaging designed specifically for each product.
