Ari-Pekka Vanamo is appointed VP, Mill Manager of Metsä Group’s Kemi bioproduct mill, effective from 1 December 2025. Vanamo is currently working as Metsä Group’s VP, Employment Relations, and has extensive experience in the forest industry as well as in mill management. As Mill Manager, Vanamo will report to SVP, Pulp Production Timo Ahonen.
The current VP, Mill Manager of the Kemi bioproduct mill, Pekka Kittilä, is appointed Technical Operations Director of the Kemi bioproduct mill as of 1 December 2025. Kittilä has broad experience in technical management of the bioproduct mill and will henceforth be responsible for ensuring the mill achieves its full performance potential. As Technical Operations Director, Kittilä will report to SVP, Pulp Production Timo Ahonen.
