Tissue World Düsseldorf 2021 postponed to September

Informa Markets, the organiser of Tissue World events, issued a statement today announcing the postponement of the upcoming Tissue World Düsseldorf 2021. The decision was made following the recent developments of COVID-19 and after extensive consultations with exhibitors, delegates, speakers, industry partners, while taking into consideration the effects on the tissue and related industries. Current and foreseeable international travel restrictions were also an important consideration.

For Tissue World Düsseldorf (which was initially planned on 16-18 March 2021 at the Messe Düsseldorf, Germany), the trade show is postponed to 21-23 September 2021 at the Messe Düsseldorf, Germany.

However, the organiser keeps positive about the industry and its prospects. In the face of so many challenges, the tissue businesses have been remarkably resilient. In order to allow industry players to stay connected, a digital event will be organised later this month. The 3 days of the upcoming Tissue World Digital Days, has already seen a very positive response from the industry with high numbers of registrations from solution providers and manufacturers alike.

Open to the entire industry, Tissue World Digital Days will take place on 11–13 November, and will give tissue manufacturing professionals the chance to network with the industry and attend the live webinars with industry key players.

“The Tissue World brand remains strong and ambitious, like the industry it serves, and we look forward to meeting you again soon.” says the Tissue World Team.
